I thought this was one of my best bedroom make overs...and it was all done in one day for Surprise by Design on the Discovery Channel. We made the back lit headboard in just one hour with tape, canvas and latex paint.

illusions of Grandeur
I used illusion to create a sophisticated one day makeover for this episode of Surprise by Design. The wood paneled headboard is actually one piece of plywood with the horizontal crosshatches scratched into the stain. The white lines on the wall and lampshade were painted to create the illusion of a sun drenched room.
